Advice for newbies:
Three things: 1. Go at your own pace – everyone is at a different place in their fitness journey. 2. Document your workouts – the weights your did, any modifications, and how you felt. It will help you know what to do the next time the movement/lift comes up. 3. Form comes first, then consistency, then intensity. If the form is not tight, don’t load the barbell with weight or try moving too fast. Keep the ego out of it, and listen to your coach. We want you to succeed by staying healthy and injury-free!

Favorite cheat meal/food:
I don’t believe in cheat meals because I think anything can be incorporated into a healthy diet, in moderation, if you eat clean, minimally processed food most of the time. My favorites to include are chocolate chip cookies, chocolate covered strawberries, popcorn, and Lou Malnati’s – mmm!
